Always Remember...

Today Marks the 11th Anniversary of  a Very Tragic Day in US History. For me it was the day that changed my life for ever. I joined the U.S. Army as a Combat Medic shortly after this event. I am VERY proud to be an American, and to have served my country for the many years that I did.

I always get a little saddend by this day, I thought I need to change that mood just a bit. So what better way than to craft my sorrows away, even if just for a little while right?

Today I have for you another Wonderful Mojo Monday Card. I was excited to have completed it on MONDAY!! wooo hooo!!! I figured by the time I was done writing my blog post it would be midnight (9/11). Here is my Card:

Here is the Mojo Monday Sketch for this week:

I tried to make this card have an "American flag" feel to it. It has the Stripes, the Stars on the upper left corner.. and its got a couple different shades of Red, White, and Blue.

Here are the "stars" on the upper left, not sure there are 50 of them... but you get the point ;)

I hope that you have Enjoyed my Patriotic Card for today, and hope that you LOVE it as much as I do!

GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS!

  7. Hello, Diana,

Your card is beautiful. I love the non-traditional colors used as a backdrop for the traditional red white and blue. Your focal just seems to jump off the page. CAS very nicely done. Thanks for your service to our country! I, too, am a veteran. Thanks for joining us at Jackson's Digital Expressions
